MTR advertising The Best of the Best Awards has been held annually since 2002, it has come to the 18th anniversary and themed “Embrace the Legend. Envision the Future.” To celebrate distinguished achievements and creative excellence in MTR advertising and recognize the outstanding contributions made by advertisers, creative agencies and media agencies, the Best of the Best Awards aims to encourage the advertising industry to exploit new ideas and to produce more creative executions in the future.

Best Use of Ambience Media

Award to the campaign that has best used multiple ad formats of MTR advertising to establish or enhance the image of the brand, product or company. The medium employed should contribute to an effective and impactful campaign and engage a person in a unique way that provides value.

Best Use of Airport Express Advertising Campaign

Award to the campaign that has best established the image of the brand, product or promotion strategy for a company on the Airport Express. Both creative concept/execution and the medium employed should contribute to an effective and powerful campaign set specifically on the Airport Express.

Best Innovative & Engagement Campaign

Award to the campaign that has best promoted the product, established or enhanced the image of the brand, product or company and/or established a call for action or stimulated the usage of the product in an innovative andinteractiveway to encourage engagement.

Best Omnichannel Campaign

Award to recognize advertisers that integrates first-hand market data and marketing content to provide consumers with a comprehensive personalized shopping experience, showcases outstanding performance across all modalities to grow sales and profits, improve customer service, enhance brand and foster new opportunities for growth.

 

Best Use of Adtech & Programmatic advertising

Award to recognize the most effective utilization of programmatic advertising to reach a larger customer base for the brand and achieve the highest conversion rates. It also highlights the importance of selecting media channels that deliver impactful results.

Outstanding advertising campaigns that had been staged on the MTR* and Airport Express advertising platforms are reviewed and shortlisted by the organizer. A total of 21 awards in 15 categories will be selected by a professional judging panel and the general public.

A professional judging panel comprised of media and creative industry professionals, as well as senior institutional and academic representatives, will appraise the finalists in a judging session to be held in July 2024. The judging criteria will be based on the use of media, creativity and effectiveness of message delivery. Their scores will weight the total scores.

*MTR advertising refers to advertising exclusively operated by JCDecaux Transport, including Island Line, South Island Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Tung Chung Line, Tseung Kwan O Line, Disneyland Resort Line and Airport Express, as well as MTR mobile advertising.
